Adaptive immunity - It develops gradually whenever the person is exposed to a disease or virus, the body develops this type of immunity for a lifetime. Even on vaccination, the body ensures this immune power to develop protection against any disease. On the basis of how this immunity is acquired, it is classified as Active and Passive Immunity.
